Travel

We recommend that out-of-town guests book in Eureka or Arcata to get to the venue. The route from Eureka to the venue is paved and the route from Arcata is mostly a gravel road. We encourage people to carpool on the day of the wedding if possible. Eureka is about a 4 1/2 hour drive up the coast from San Francisco or you can fly into the California Redwood Coast-Humboldt County Airport (ACV).

Friday Night Markets- Local food and art vendors gather in Old Town Eureka on Friday Nights Sequoia Park Zoo- Red Pandas, Brown Bears, River Otters, and the Redwood SkyWalk! Game On- Indoor arcade with laser tag, mini golf, and arcade games Redwood State and National Parks: Be amongst ancient Coastal Redwoods! You can view Roosevelt Elk in Orick, CA Beaches- Our favorite is College Cove, but there is a hike to get there. Moonstone Beach and Samoa Beach are more easily accessible Rivers- The Eel and Baduat (Mad River) are easily accessible Ferndale, Old Town Eureka, and the Arcata Plaza for shopping Arcata Farmers' Market on Saturday morning Drink: Redwood Curtain Brewery, Humboldt Cider Company, and Fieldbrook Winery are our recommendations

What should we wear?

Answer

Semi-Formal. Dress to express! We will be outside for the day and it may be warm. Please bring swimming attire for the pond on the property! Narrow heels are not recommended because we will be walking on grass and a gravel path.

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

From Eureka, you will take Freshwater Road to Butler Valley Rd and from Arcata, you will take Fickle Hill Rd to Butler Valley Rd. Cell phone reception is spotty in the area, so please download an offline map of the area and let us know if you have questions! Also, we highly encourage that you carpool, as parking will be limited. Thank you in advance!
