We met at a New Years Eve Party! Tanner was playing bar tender, and I partook in the many lemon drops he made. We went on our first date about a week later to an Italian restaurant, and we haven't stopped texting since.
We were celebrating Valentines Day a little early, so we planned a fancy lunch date at the beach. After lunch (and creme brulee) I asked Desiree to go for a walk on the beach. At first, she was not enthused because it was freezing, but went along anyway. I soon dropped to one knee and asked Desiree to spend the rest of her life with me. After she said yes (actually it was "Are you serious?") we finished our day with a trip to Barnes and Noble and Homegoods.

Rehearsal is for our wedding party, but we would love to meet all out of town guests (and anyone else who feels like joining) for a night on the town in Dewey afterwards!

Garden party meets semi-formal: dressy and refined with a playful, outdoor twist. For women: cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, jumpsuits, or chic separates. Wedges or dressy flats are great choices—just keep the lawn in mind! For men: lightweight suits, dress pants with a button-up, or a sport coat. Ties are optional. Loafers or dress shoes work best—no sneakers or overly casual looks.
Please plan to arrive by 4:00pm to find your seats and enjoy the live music. At 4:30pm sharp, the ceremony will begin. We are having an unplugged ceremony, so please no cell phones!
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
There will be a few light bites in addition to cocktails. We are having an open bar (drinks are on us!) but the bartenders will be accepting cash tips. Please NO outside alcohol, going near the horses, or swimming in the ponds. Shots are also off limits, but as long as we follow these rules no one will be fined (per the venue). Please note, if you "RSVP'd" to the ceremony, you will be a part of the headcount for cocktail hour!
