Tanisha and Kevin’s Love Story

Like so many modern love stories, ours began on a dating app — Hinge. From the very first messages, there was an instant spark. We went out a few times and felt something special, but after a few rough experiences in the dating world, we both found ourselves holding back, each quietly waiting for the other to take the next step. Time passed, and life moved on, but something about our connection lingered. About eight months later, fate gave us another chance. When we reconnected, it felt as if no time had passed at all, only this time, we both knew exactly what (and who) we wanted. Since then, we’ve been inseparable. What started as a second chance turned into the greatest love story of our lives. One built on patience, timing, and the beautiful realization that love always finds its way back.

FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 14th, 2026. This helps us finalize our guest count and make sure everything is perfect for your arrival. If your plans change after submitting your RSVP, please let us know at least 30 days in advance so we can make the necessary adjustments.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or my children?

Answer

Due to our wedding being an intimate celebration with a limited guest count, we’re unable to accommodate children or additional guests during the ceremony and dinner. However, we love the idea of families making this a special trip together! We encourage everyone to bring their children along and arrange for a sitter or caregiver during the formal parts of the evening. We’d be thrilled to have the kids join us later for the dancing and celebration! If you’d like to discuss accommodations or have a special request, please reach out to the bride or groom directly and we will try our best to honor requests once we have received all RSVPs and have a better idea of our final guest count. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both events will take place outdoors.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is limited parking at the venue which will be dedicated to our vendors. Complimentary parking is available next door at Grassy Key Marina. Feel free to drop guests off at the venue prior to parking. Carpooling and Rideshares like Uber or Lyft are also welcome and encouraged.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guest arrival time is 3:30PM EST

Question

Are there hotel accommodations nearby?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved room blocks at Hampton Inn - Marathon, FL and Courtyard by Marriott Faro Blanco Resort, Marathon. You can find booking details under the Travel section of our website.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an “unplugged” ceremony. We’d love for you to be fully present and let the photographer capture the moments for you. Feel free to take all the photos you like during the reception!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Beach Formal We kindly request Beach Formal attire to complement our waterfront setting. Light, breathable fabrics are encouraged for the Florida Keys weather. Because the celebration takes place on packed sand, women may prefer wedges, block heels, or dressy sandals for comfort. For inspiration, we’ve included a Pinterest board with outfit ideas below. https://pin.it/3qHpZqhcw We can’t wait to celebrate with you in paradise. 🌴✨

Question

What food will be served?

Answer

Cocktail Hour: • Chips & salsa • Hawaiian meatballs • Coconut shrimp Dinner Stations: • Taco Bar – chicken, ground beef, and mahi tacos with rice, beans, and all the fixings • Carving Station – honey glazed ham with mashed potatoes and gravy, salad, and rolls Sweet Treats: Available after dinner! Our caterers are aware of the bride’s shellfish allergy, so guests with shellfish allergies should be able to enjoy the meal safely. If you have any other dietary concerns, just let us know!

Question

What’s the best way to contact you with questions?

Answer

You can reach out to Tanisha or Kevin anytime via text or call. Tanisha (615)945-8936 Kevin (716)696-0947

Registry

We are so grateful for the love and support of our friends and family as we begin this new chapter together. Your presence at our wedding truly means the world to us, that’s the greatest gift of all! As we’ve already built a home together, we aren’t setting up a traditional gift registry. Instead, if you wish to honor us with a gift, we would be deeply thankful for contributions toward our upcoming home projects and our honeymoon adventure. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for celebrating with us and for being part of our story. Your kindness and love mean more than words can say. 🤍
