Our First Date

Hiking of course!

We met on-line and had our first date at Nelson Ledges in June 2021. She thought he was trying too hard and he thought she had yucky teeth! What a great start to our story ❤️

His Proposal

It took a while…..for both of us

Lance presented Tammy in September 2024 with a card at Lake Chataqua and a hand written letter declaring his intent to marry - with Mochi’s approval of course! The ring was ordered and the waiting was long (in her mind). Once the ring came in, he officially proposed in March 2025 on a bridge during a hike through the woods.

Thank you so much for celebrating with us!

Lance

Groom

He enjoys boating, camping, jogging, sports cars and auto mechanics (aka tinkering) - pretty much everything! And of course, Mochi goes everywhere with him. He lives big, trying new things and enjoys doing all things active. Lance's day job is as a Forensic Mental Health Therapist.

Tammy

Bride

She loves to travel, hike, horse-back riding, spending time with family and friends, reading and most of all..... spending time with Lance & Mochi! He keeps me busy :) What most attracted me to Lance? His faith in God and walk with Jesus!

Answer

The lodge provides a full service dining room, lounge, poolside snack bar, both inside and outdoor pool, game-room, sand volleyball court, frisbie golf, 18 hole champion golf-course, hiking trails (we like the one that takes you to Stone House), beach and 2 marinas with pontoon boat rentals. And don't forget to look for Bigfoot who's made a few appearances (reference Bigfoot sightings map in Photo Gallery).
