The wedding is located at the Montage Palmetto Bluff resort. It is a large property that is very walkable with bikes and golf carts available for guests. The hotel block is under the MaysonBoyden Wedding. Click "View" below and the link will take you directly to the room block rate. Due to how large the property is and the logistics of getting around, we encourage guests to stay on property with us to soak in the weekend together.

The Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) is home to several major airlines offering flights (35 direct) to and from various United States cities. The airport is 24 miles from Palmetto Bluff (approximately 40 minutes by car.)

The Hilton Head Airport (HHH) employs Delta, United, and American Airlines for service. The airport is 22 miles from Palmetto Bluff (approximately 37 minutes by car.)

When booking your visit, we recommend taking full advantage of all that the lowcountry has to offer. Whether you are extending your stay or looking for activities in the area throughout the weekend, we encourage you to explore and experience the southern charm. While most events will be hosted at Palmetto Bluff throughout the weekend, there are also two neighboring areas we love! Please refer to the weekly Palmetto Bluff Discovery Activities sheet in your room or rental home. This lists the most up-to-date info. These are some of the activities we suggest, but there are many more available such as running/walking trails, tennis, pickleball, basketball, horseback riding, and guided outdoor adventures. PORCHING / SMORES' ROAST Southern porching is a must. Every afternoon at 3:30 p.m. in the Carolina Room at the Inn, please enjoy cookies and sweet tea. In the evenings, enjoy gourmet smores' at the firepit behind the Inn, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. ON THE WATER Private boat tours, water excursions, dolphin tours, kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding. MONTAGE SPA Set beside serene waterways and moss-laden oak trees, Spa Montage will lull you into a peaceful state of mind, body and heart. BIKING Each Montage guest has a complimentary bike with their room or rental home. There are many places to ride and explore around the property. GOLF Take in the majesty of century-old live oaks and serene native landscapes as you linger on the scenic 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Course. Woven throughout the May River Forest are 7,171 yards, with several holes on the banks of the river. SHOOTING CLUB The Palmetto Bluff Shooting Club features 13 sporting clay stations winding through an expansive 40-acre forest. An elevated and covered 5-stand station, plus a wobble deck field make for a total of 15 shooting sites. WILSON LAWN & RACQUET CLUB This expansive club facility includes eight Har-Tru tennis courts with four courtside shelters, two bocce courts, six pickleball courts, one basketball court, and a well-equipped pro shop and pavilion. Please note swimsuits are not permitted to use the facilities.

What should we wear?

Answer

Tuxes are strongly encouraged for men and for women, long formal dresses. Welcome party will be cocktail attire. Coats and furs are also encouraged, as the weather can fluctuate. Keep in mind there are some events on grass, so wear heels best fit for you.

Can we rent a golf cart?

Of course, the property is expansive so it is a fun way to get around.

Will there be transportation offered if we decide to stay off property?

Answer

Those staying off property will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the Montage. Friendly reminder that Ubers/Lyfts are scarce in the area. Due to logistics, we strongly encourage our guests to stay on the property to soak in every moment together.
