We first met working together aboard The Stennis when we were both in the Navy. We didn't really talk much past work until about a year later, after Connor transferred to a new command. He decided to reach out around Thanksgiving, and initially I turned him down as both of our personal lives were a bit messy. Not even two days later I reached out to him asking to get drinks and the rest is history.

I was planning a girl's night at our house, and had planned on a fun evening of pizza, margaritas, and painting our house. Unbeknownst to me however, Connor was planning with all of my girls. Shortly after we finished eating Connor stepped out of the room and the girls and I continued our conversation and I didn't really think anything of it. Then Connor comes around the corner and gets on one knee, but being very distracted in our conversation (talking about airsickness is riveting if you didn't know) I didn't see him at first and he had to give me a little tap to get my attention. Very obviously I said yes, and now we get to share our day with all of you all!!
