How We Met
An office romance, kinda (virtual). It wasn't until 8 months into their first job that they finally met in person at a work happy hour. Syd already had eyes on Col from seeing him over Zoom but it wasn't until meeting in person for the first time and talking all night that she became genuinely interested. Thankfully, the group exchanged contacts and Syd finally had his number. A month later, she reached out in the group chat to see if anyone was out and luckily, Col was the only one. She texted him outside the group chat to meet up at a bar but the night got away from them. Syd smartly pivoted, proposing "brunch tomorrow?", to which he replied with an immediate "Yes." They spent several hours at Freehouse the next morning getting to know each other. Syd proceeded to drive Colin back to his apartment (5 years later, still driving him everywhere) and the rest is history. Since then, the two have spent way too much money at restaurants, taken trips all over the country (and world), had plenty of laughs, and spent unforgettable weekends with each other's family and friends. Now, they're finally getting married! Shoutout to Deloitte for bringing them together, one of the company's many success stories.

There are numerous boutiques, coffee shops, and restaurants to explore and enjoy. One of our favorites is StoneHouse Coffee, they have incredible scones and also delicious coffee. However, you can’t go wrong with any of the coffee shops in this area.
Grand View Lodge Spa and Golf Resort
Even if you aren't staying at Grand View for the wedding, there are restaurants to enjoy, a spa, nice golf courses, and more. I would definitely check out their website!
Up North Bike Rentals
If you are looking to try out the Paul Bunyan State Trail or Gull Lake Trail, I would recommend this place for bike rentals.
