Adonis and Sweenly first met at a community service event during Fall 2012 rush. Both were representing their Greek-lettered organizations and ended up in the same group. Adonis (stoic as ever) had his hands in his pockets, looking off to the side, without so much as a word to anyone in the group except his former wrestling teammate (turned groomsman) Max. Sweenly (energetic as ever) introduced herself to him and the group. Without thinking much of it, the day ended, they became facebook friends and 4 years go by, without another word exchanged. Fast forward to September 2016, Sweenly, freshly single and traveling Europe, posted a picture on Instagram of herself in front of the golden gates of the Palace of Versailles. Adonis left his first ever comment, "did you scream, 'let them eat cake'?" Sweenly, ever unaware, responded, "????" *crickets* ... no response. 3 days later, walking the streets of Amsterdam, Sweenly walked past "Venus and Adonis, Bar & Grill." Coincidence or fate? Either way, Sweenly took a picture and sent it to Adonis, and so, the story began.
