It started in 2012, freshman year at UC Irvine. A student club brought us together, and a shared love of adventure kept us close. By December 2014, we made it official. Since then, we've spent over a decade hiking, climbing, and skiing our way through life — with plenty of passport stamps along the way. We welcomed Fig into the family in 2020 and Lobo in 2025 — two dogs who are very much in charge now. On March 9, 2024, Cuong proposed, and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate with the people we love on August 1, 2026 at The James Leary Flood Mansion in San Francisco.

Travel Note
SFO (San Francisco International) is the closest airport, about 20 minutes from downtown. OAK (Oakland International) is also an option, about 30 minutes away.
San Francisco is a city of neighborhoods, each with its own personality. A few of our favorites: The Mission for murals, taquerias, and great coffee; Hayes Valley for boutique shopping and wine bars; North Beach for Italian food and City Lights Bookstore; and The Marina / Presidio for waterfront walks with views of the Golden Gate Bridge.
You know we love the outdoors. Walk or bike across the Golden Gate Bridge, hike the Lands End Trail for ocean views and hidden beaches, explore Muir Woods (30 min north — reserve a parking pass in advance), or stroll through Golden Gate Park and visit the botanical garden.
Some spots we love: Hon’s Wun-Tun House for Suz’s favorite wonton noodle soup, Tacos El Charro for Cuong’s favorite tacos de cabeza, and Trick Dog or True Laurel for some of our favorite cocktails.
First time in SF? Don't miss: Alcatraz Island (book tickets well in advance), a ride on the cable cars, Fisherman's Wharf for the full tourist experience, and sunset at Twin Peaks or Dolores Park.
Cocktail attire. Think polished but comfortable — you'll want to dance! Note: the ceremony is outdoors and can get chilly in the San Francisco evening, so we recommend bringing a light layer.
Parking near The James Leary Flood Mansion is very limited, so we strongly recommend rideshare. We'll provide a shuttle between Stanford Court hotel and the venue. Details in the Travel section.
