Our story begins in January of 2018, it all started online through an app. We talked slowly making jokes and having funny conversations. Those conversations soon lead to the question of “ Will you be my girlfriend?” I said yes because he was absolutely handsome and he never failed to make me smile. Lucky for me he didn’t run away from my goofiness, from there the rest is history. The funniest memory we had was when he snuck into my prom with a fake name. For my senior year, prom was coming up and we had been together for a year already. Prom day came up and he was my date, we got ready and we headed out to prom. Once we got there everyone had to be checked in with name and Id. Ruben didn’t go to that school and he wasn’t approved by the principal. I checked in and he waited till the line cleared out for the men. I waited nervously for about 10 min inside until I saw him come through, I was relieved. I asked him what name he used and he said “Michael Cole”. I couldn’t believe they let him through using that name. May 22, 2022 Ruben had proposed to me on the second day of EDC. It was the most magical proposal and I couldn’t have pictured it to be any better. The moment leading up to the proposal our favorite Dj, Tiesto, was playing his set and the fireworks were going off. Everything during that memorable moment was so perfect and so beautiful. We can’t wait to celebrate with you at our ceremony and reception in November!
