We each were out with a friend to watch the band 'Lemon Fresh Day' play at the bar. As the night went on we struck up a conversation. Scott was giving Sarah a verbal tutorial on how to do the waltz. Sarah had no idea what he was talking about but thought he was charming and had beautiful blue eyes. Scott was enjoying the conversation and figured things were going well since Sarah was laughing at his jokes, so he asked for her phone number at the end of the evening. He was obviously successful!

Scott proposed to Sarah on their anniversary in January 2023. The location was the 360 Steakhouse at Harrah's Council Bluffs. It was an amazing evening, which included breathtaking views of the Missouri River, the Omaha skyline and of course a delicious meal!
