Hard to believe that we met "in da club": A Private Club near the Ole School "Century Club" in Century City to be exact. Long story short, he called me by my first name- ("how are you tonight Tasha"'); after overhearing another colleague who I was with call my name. I thought it was odd that he knew my name and we never met before (giving "stalker vibes") lol- but once he bought me a drink, and we danced to my favorite "Lauren Hill" tune, (singing "girl you know you betta -WATCH OUT- those guys those guys are ON-LY ABOUT.............." THAT THING). I was smitten!!! Here we are embarking on 26 years Together, 20 years Married and 2 children later!!! AND as it turns out "he was out for more than just "THAT THING"!!! SO I WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN with YOU!!!

We are De boarding the Ship at 10:00am in the Beautiful Catalina Island to ReNew Our Vows at the Catalina Arts and Culture Museum. The ceremony will start with a short caravan (via Golf cart) to the Museum. (Renting the Golf Cart is totally Optional- the walk is approximately 15 minutes from the Docking Port) We are excited for you to Join Us!!

Kenyatta Frank Stiger Jr. was planned, conceived and arrived on his exact due date- which means he was RIGHT ON TIME. He brings so much peace- joy and balance to our home and we are excited that he gets to bear witness and be apart of our celebration of love 20 years later!

My One and Only Blood Brother has a very special place in my heart as he represents the most humble and God-Fearing fabric characteristics of our Daddyo. My God Brother- and one of The Stigers #1 Fans- has been there for every beautiful thing that has happened in my youth and adult life. He is truly the male version of me (his big Sister Lasha) as he affectionately calls me. He’s my party partner, my spades partner, my inside joke- clowner ( we are always on the same wave length and page just by looking at each other) but most importantly my silent motivator. He’s the first person to say “Lasha- you must be really feeling this dude huh” because he just knew the love for my husband was different. He embraced my husband as his own brother and showed him the utmost respect. I’m excited to have you walk be down this aisle at my right side (because you truly are my “right hand man”).

Broom Carrier
My nephew is the last true living legacy of the “McFashion” name and he indeed has the heart and spirit touched by God and my Daddyo in the heavens. To have him as our broom carrier is not only significant to our African heritage but it is so befitting as he will be the carrier of the “McFashion” torch as the Alpha male for his generation. Having him with his on our special day (born days before our anniversary) is clearly no accident. My Daddyo will definitely be in the midst as through my nephew as he carries the ancestral spirit and tradition of the broom that we will jump into our 20th year of marriage over. It couldn’t be more special than that.
Sevyn McFashion (Niece)
Flower Girl
The youngest female jewel (niece) of the family and the only jewel to carry her Grandfathers last name (McFashion) will pave the ground with white rose petals for her Auntie. It so special to have her follow in the tradition of her eldest cousin (Imani) who was our flower girl 20 years ago (at the very same age she is. My Daddyo will get a hoot out seeing his granddaughter as beautiful as a rose.

The Reneaus- (My Big Sister and Best friend and My First and #1 Brother in Love (BIL) are the MVPs of every milestone celebration I’ve ever had in life. From my first ever birthday party (because I never had one as a child), Our Wedding 20 years ago, both of our children baby showers, our 10 year Vowel Renewal and now our 20 year Anniversary! Being the example of “partnering” through the many phases of life and chapters of a marriage is what we appreciate most. We appreciate them for making this celebration come to life- in the way that we wanted it- Intimate- Fun and Memorable with our family and friends by our side.

Answer
There is no secret to a healthy marriage- there are only “formulas” that are created, invented and tested by the two scientists of a marriage. We’ve created many formulas over the years- some that worked for a season and others that we store for later use. We are grateful that we still enjoy “creating formulas” TOGETHER. We call it “THE STIGER EFFECT”
