For our straight friends, you can simply say Jaime and I met on a memorable first date at The Cheesecake Factory, where I, in my nervous excitement, simply couldn't stop talking. And for our LGBTQ+ friends, you know that before that date, a certain app played its part! Regardless of how it all began, the most exciting part is where our journey has taken us. Jaime and I became friends in the Fall of 2012, and then, on February 12th, 2013, we officially became boyfriends. Here we are today, over 12 years later, inviting you to celebrate our wedding! It's incredible to think how much we've experienced together. We often joke that we've done it all as a couple: from weekend meet-ups when Jaime lived in Brooklyn and I was in Central NJ, to navigating long distance when I moved to North Carolina after college. Then came the big move to NYC, learning to integrate our lives, which, as many of you know, had its share of not so fun hiccups. Nonetheless, we realized that despite said hiccups, we truly wanted to be together. So in 2017 we officially moved into our first apartment together—our beloved, oversized closet that some of you got to experience 😬! Since then, we've celebrated Jaime graduating from Pratt and me from NYU, weathered countless apartment moves due to job changes, water leaks, and rising rents (ah, the joys of NYC!). We welcomed the cutest "baby" into our home, our beloved Charlie, and even bought our first place just before a global pandemic forced us to work side-by-side for months. We've explored across Asia, Europe, and America, with more continents on our list! We sold our apartment, got back to renting, now we are going back to owning, lots of constant changes. We truly have done it all... except for one thing: putting a ring on it. So, we joyfully welcome you to this new journey as we formalize the love that has already flourished for over a decade. Regardless of all the changes over the past 12 years, the once constant is that we love each other. We can't wait to cement our desire to grow old together with this beautiful ceremony and, most importantly, have an amazing time celebrating with all of you. Thank you for sharing this special moment with us; we are truly grateful to have you in our lives ♥️.

Flight
For our guests flying into NYC from any location within the U.S. we recommend you arrive trough La Guardia. This airport is closer to the city and very recently renovated. Should make travel a breeze.
Flight
For our guests traveling from outside the U.S. we suggest you fly into JFK Airport. While this airport is further away from the city, it is our main international airport. This should help with finding direct fligths into the city and avoiding any extra layovers to reach another airport like LGA.
Flight
Beware at the time of writing this, this airport has a ongoing construction. I am unsure how logistics will be by Septemeber.
Hotel
The NYC Metropolitan Area is full of hotels across all boroughs, including the New Jersey Riverside. Given the drastic diaspora of Hotel options and how easy it is to navigate within NYC (whether its by Subway, Buses, Taxis, or Ride Shares) we leave it up to you all to pick whatever accommodation works best. If you do pick a hotel in NJ just be aware that transportation can be limited as you depend on NJ Transit / Path Trains. We are happy to provide tips but any neighborhood in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Jersey City / Hoboken, or even Queens would work. You can always check Google Maps for Subway/Bus information to get into Brooklyn.
This linear park used to be a rail track! Its a lovely stroll. From the 12th St. end you can enjoy the beauty of Chelsea and from the 30th St. end you can explore Hudson Yards, see the Vessel, and do some shopping.
This is a man made park on top the Hudson River. Another great place to take astroll through and it is super close to both the High Line and Chelsea Market!
I go through here all the time for work but it's also a great place to have some bites or check the flea market.
This Spanish place is one of my faves. Worth checking out!
One of the world's largest and finest art museums. A must check museum if you've never been.
AMAZING gooey cookies! If you are craving something sweet, then check them out. Jaime and I are fans. They have locations across the city, but their UWS store is the OG.
Quite a train ride but this is one of Jaime's favorites restaurants! Top restaurant for Uruguayan steak! Get all the meats <3. We recommend the their sausage, a Vacio (sirloin flap-open) with potato salad. Their sangria is delicious too (if you like it sweet).
If you're looking for some great Japanese Izakaya then this is the place. It tends to be packed all the time so do try to get a resy. Jaime introduced me to this place :)
Where city meets sea! Snap pics with Lady Liberty, hop on a ferry to explore the harbor, or just chill out with waterfront views and cool breezes. Walk through the Brookfield Place and enjoy the delicious bakeries and restaurants. You can also walk to the 9/11 memorial and the Oculus. Don't miss the magical SeaGlass Carousel for a unique spin! Also hot tip, you can catch the NYC ferry here to go to Midtown or you can also go catch the Staten Island ferry. The NYC ferry sells beer and seltzers so great way to catch views and breeze with a drink in hand (Keep in mind you can only drink inside the ferry).
Hipster haven with vintage shops, street art, and rooftop bars. Bredford Ave. is full of shops. I also recommend checking out Roberta's pizza!
To allow all our guests to relax and enjoy the evening, we've decided to make our wedding an adults-only occasion. We hope this will give you a chance to let loose and celebrate with us!
The NYC Subway is Tap-to-Pay. So, if you have Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any NFC card that would do. There is also OMNY card, which can be acquired and loaded at subway station or stores like 7-eleven.
100%! I am a huge fan and have my own annual subscription. One of the best ways to move around. You can access them using the Lyft app. They manage the city bike system.
Google maps is your best friend, will even tell you which subway exit to use. Subway is generally the fastest way around; ride shares are comfortable but check traffic beforehand.
