Will there be a wedding ceremony before the cocktail hour and reception ?

Answer

No, we will be doing things very different. We will be having a very intimate wedding ceremony a few days before the reception and just partying it up with you all on Friday, November 15th! We are forever grateful for all of you who have been so supportive and accepting of how we have always done things, non-traditional, off the beaten path, our way, weird lol, but always for love and in love . Thank you for always showing us love and support!

Black Tie Optional & super fabulous, elegant mid to floor length dresses for our ladies(gown or elegant cocktail dress). Do not be afraid to put away the basic and safe and wear some bold colors, sequins, metallic, jewel tones & more. We want you to feel and look amazing! Yes, prepare how you must for an evening full of delicious food, as there will be a cocktail hour with a variety of hor d’oeuvres! Also, get ready to enjoy a traditional Mexican Mariachi performance!

While we love your children, our wedding reception is an adult only event. We kindly ask that we celebrate with our adult family and friends only. Thank you for understanding!

Please be advised this will be a late evening through midnight reception party. We begin at 7 pm ! We kindly ask our guest to please arrive on time.

Do I have to wear a sombrero/tejana ?

You are most welcome to, as many of our family members are welcome to show out and represent in the traditional Tejana. They are a staple piece of attire in the region of Mexico where some of our family members are from (the country side of Mexico) and a respected part of the culture for both our country and city family from Mexico. & no it is not a mariachi sombrero.

Does the Venue provide parking?

Yes, our venue offers a parking lot reserved for our guests! Please be advised that if you arrive to the parking lot and it is at capacity there is a second smaller reserved parking lot right across the street from the entrance of the venue.

What is la vibora de la Mar?

Answer

This is a Mexican tradition where the bride and groom both get up on a separate chair and hold a veil forming a bridge.They are held by their close friends while the guest hold hands and dance/run under the bridge and around the room signifying their strong bond/foundation against the obstacles of life they will face together. The guest will run under a the bridges some bumping the bride or groom to symbolize obstacles in life.
