Like many modern love stories, ours began with a swipe. We met on Bumble in late 2019, just before the world took an unexpected turn. What started as a few casual messages quickly turned into real conversations, laughter and a connection that felt like we've known each other for years. Not long after meeting in person, we became a couple and we’ve been growing together ever since. We’ve shared countless little joys: slow grocery store strolls that turn into mini dates, food hunts that have taken us across the island (and beyond) and becoming more like each other (Steph now enjoys watching One Championship and Joe doesn't leave home without wearing sunscreen). Somewhere along the way, “your thing” became “our thing”. In March this year, Joe planned a birthday trip for Steph to Chiang Mai, a place they had both wanted to explore beyond their countless of Bangkok trips. Just a day after her birthday, they woke up at 4 am to catch the sunrise from the highest point in Thailand: Doi Inthanon. As they drove up the mountain in the stillness of dawn, the sky began to blush with light. At the summit around 7 am, they were greeted by a breathtaking view of golden sunlight pouring through the clouds. Joe asked the tour guide to stop so they could take a few photos. But instead of just capturing the view, he got down on one knee and asked Steph to be his forever. Now, here we are counting down the days to saying "I do" - and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate this joyful new chapter with you!
