In 2019, Stacy joined the Handbell Choir at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, in which Bryan was already a member. We stole glances at each other from across the room during choir rehearsals, however it would take a couple of years before we began talking to each other. The more we talked, the more we realized how much we had in common and enjoyed each other's company. In April of 2025, our handbell choir attended an all day workshop/festival and we spent most of the day talking, laughing and getting to know each other better. This was the start of our life together.
In August of 2025, we traveled to New York City for the weekend to attend two Broadway shows, Hadestown and Wicked. We have an enjoyable day walking around the city, having dinner are the Carnegie Diner, and seeing both shows. Our hotel room had a beautiful view of the Empire State Building and after getting back to our room, Bryan proposed!
