Reception Day Hike

We are planning to do a short 3 to 5 mile wildflower hike in the Columbia River Gorge Saturday morning. Please join us! We will finalize the hike details closer to the date.
Reception & Dinner

Cocktail attire (jumpsuits encouraged)
Han Oak will be serving a four course meal to guests. Come hungry!

There will be a ceremony with immediate family on 5/16/2025.

Where should we stay?
Answer
We recommend checking out AirBnBs in Northeast or the Central Eastside of Portland. Both of these areas are near the reception. Cascada Thermal Springs + Hotel recently opened and is one of the nicer hotels in the area.

Do I need a car to get around?
Answer
Yes, if you plan to join the hike or the brunch, or if you plan to sightsee before or after the reception. Rideshare Apps can get you anywhere you need to go in the city.

How grueling will the hike be?
Answer
Pretty grueling. Just kidding, but all you Midwest folks might be surprised by the relative elevation gains. We will find one under five miles with less than 2500ft of elevation gain.

What should we wear to the hike?
Answer
Functional hiking clothes should do the trick. Rain jackets, better to have them and not need them.
