FAQs

The Wedding Website of Mollie Spudie and Andrew Frederick
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress comfortably. Light or strappy dresses, button-ups, whatever keeps you cool and makes you feel good! We will be outdoors for both the ceremony and the reception. (grass and concrete with a dance floor)

Question

Are there Ubers/Lyfts?

Answer

Yes and no. It is hard to say if any local drivers work until the time that our reception ends. It seems the most reliable service is called Bob's Car Service (619)318-6990. Otherwise, contact us directly if necessary and we'll see what we can do!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

First, I recommend carpooling with friends or family! We have two long driveways and grass parking, so we are comfortable saying there is space for all!

Things To Do

Waynesville is a cozy Smoky Mountain town filled with outdoor activities and negative ions. The downtown is adorable and lively. There are plenty of small towns very close by if you choose to explore! Bryson city (~40 min away) is where I grew up visiting my grandparents' cabin every summer. Maggie Valley (<20 min away) is a stunning place for dinner and family/group activities and attractions. Sylva (~20 min away) is known for its walkable downtown area with unique restaurants, breweries, shops, and galleries. Cherokee (<40 min away) in the Qualla Boundary, is home to the Eastern Band of the Aniyunwiya (Cherokee Nation). Dillsboro (~25 min) is known for its artistic roots, historic buildings, and shops. - Mollie
