Our ceremony will take place at the old stone church in the small village of Coleshill Old stone churches are notoriously tricky to keep warm, so we would definitely recommend bringing a nice winter jacket along with you! Californians.... Now would be the perfect opportunity to make use of that lovely winter coat you have been waiting to wear since you bought it 10 years ago! ;) There are limited parking spaces outside the church so please arrive about 20–30 minutes early to find parking in the village. After the ceremony, wrap up warm for for a few photos and confetti outside the church before heading over to the reception.

🥂 The Reception Join us from 4PM as we continue the celebrations at a beautiful old stone barn in the heart of the Cotswolds — about a 30-minute drive from the ceremony in Coleshill. We’ll start the evening with drinks, canapés, and a warming hot toddy (or two) before gathering for a few speeches and sitting down to supper. Afterward, the dancing begins — first with a lively ceilidh, then a DJ to keep the celebrations going late into the night. We’ll end with a cheerful send-off for the newlyweds!
Flight
The best airport to fly into is London Heathrow (LHR). It is a 1-1.5 hour drive to Coleshill from there.
Train
We recommend hiring a car from the airport for convenience, but if you prefer public transport: Take the Heathrow Express to London Paddington, then a train to Swindon, Oxford, or Moreton-in-Marsh, depending on your accommodation. From there, you can arrange local taxis or transfers to your stay.
Travel Note
Once in the Cotswolds: Driving gives you the most freedom. Taxis and private drivers are available but should be booked in advance. Local bus routes run between larger towns, though less frequently in winter. Travel tip: Download Google Maps or Waze before heading out — phone signal can be patchy in the hills!
Travel Note
We’re so grateful that many of you are travelling such long distances to celebrate with us! To make things easy after the celebrations, we recommend staying near the reception venue on the night of the wedding — that way, you can relax and enjoy the party without worrying about a long drive. For a list of lovely nearby inns, hotels, and B&Bs, please visit the Stone Barn website for accommodation recommendations: 👉 https://crippsandco.com/stone-barn/other-location-accommodation For those of you coming from across the pond, we hope our wedding gives you the perfect excuse to spend a little time exploring the charming Cotswolds. If you’re planning to make a longer stay of it and would like suggestions for things to see, do, and where to stay, be sure to check out the “Things to Do” tab on our website.
