Airport Options

We suggest flying into San Diego International Airport as it is the closest! It is 30 minutes from Hotel Indigo, and 40 minutes from the park. Other options include: Los Angeles International Airport - approx. 2-3 hour drive Long Beach Airport - approx. 2 hour drive John Wayne Airport - approx. 1-2 hour drive

Hotel

Hotel Indigo San Diego del Mar, an IHG Hotel

710 Camino Del Mar, Del Mar, CA 92014

While we don't have a block anywhere, we are offering a discount to book at this hotel. It is in a lovely, walkable, and fun neighborhood and is approximately a 40-minute drive to the park. Please reach out to Sophie or Matt for the link!

Travel Note

General Travel Note

We love living in San Diego, but for those who have never been before or haven't been recently, it is very spread out and offers minimal public transportation. We recommend renting a car, carpooling, or using rideshare apps like Lyft or Uber to get around. Please factor in traffic as it is a holiday weekend when planning travel time to get events. Additionally, there is NO CELL OR INTERNET SERVICE at the park, so if you would like to use a rideshare app to and from, we encourage you to use the "schedule" ride option.

FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is casual! The event will be outside and on grass, so please dress accordingly.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We've designed this to be a kid-inclusive event, so yes! Your kids are welcome to celebrate with us.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking for the ceremony and reception at the park! We are coordinating with the park to provide parking vouchers for guests. While there is plenty of parking, it is open to the public and there may be other guests looking to enjoy it so we do ask that folks carpool when possible. Another option is to use a rideshare app, like Uber of Lyft. If you choose this option, please note that there is NO service at the park and you should schedule your return ride ahead of time. Lastly, San Diego is slowly working on growing it’s public transportation so while there is a trolley stop about 20 minutes away we suggest either carpooling or ride sharing.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Question
