We were lucky to have crossed paths as teenagers and find each other years later as adults. We had formed such a strong bond before dating and we are thankful for that bond as we have been through so much together! Although we legally married in April of 2024, we did not have a ceremony. We want to take this opportunity to share our commitment to one another surrounded by those we love. We want to celebrate our marriage and say thank you to everyone who has been by our side throughout the years. We are looking forward to celebrating love and beginning a new chapter in our lives with all of you!
4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
We ask that guests dress in black and formal attire. No jeans or t-shirts please. Motorcycles encouraged!

By the end of October, the weather has cooled off a bit from the summer heat and humidity to provide crisp mornings with daytime temps in the 60s. Evenings offer a delightful coolness, but can drop into the 50s (maybe even 40s). Although there will be plenty of heat sources for our outdoor wedding, we would recommend bringing a sweater or jacket to ensure you’re comfortable.
The town of Gettysburg and surrounding areas have a variety of hotels as well as several Air BnBs to choose from.
You can either follow the link on your RSVP card that arrived with your invitation, RSVP directly on this site at the bottom of the page, or text Sophie directly at (717) 816-5465. Please do so by September 15th!
We’re having BBQ! We are still putting together our menu. The caterers are also the owners of our beautiful venue and their restaurant has been a local favorite for several years so you won’t be disappointed!
We will have an open bar for cocktail hour and the reception serving wine and liquor as well two beer troughs that will be free to grab from!
It’s spooky season in the forest! We would really love it if all guests dress in the color black. We also request you dress formally for the evening. As stated under the weather FAQ, please bring a sweater or jacket if you think you may get cold! Please no jeans or t-shirts for the evening!
We have booked an amazing photographer and videographer for the ceremony and reception. You can take all the photos and videos you want at the reception (without flash), but please no cameras during the ceremony. Be in the moment with us and let the photographer and videographer work their magic! Check out their instagram and website! instagram.com/haleymaephotoandfilm haleymccloskey.com
Once the photographer and videographer are done editing, we will most likely upload a handful on our Facebook and Instagram accounts. We will also make sure to send any taken of you or with you to you personally!
While we respectfully ask to have a child-free wedding, we do understand child care isn’t always easy to find especially when traveling out of town. If you have any concerns or special circumstances, please don't hesitate to contact us directly to discuss further.
We are still trying to get this sorted out, but check back later for updates!
Begin your experience by exploring your choice of two historic homes. Meet the spirits of the Jennie Wade House, site of the Battle’s only civilian death. Venture inside the Haunted Orphanage, where innocent children were tortured by a cruel and abusive matron. If you dare, ride the Haunted Bus to some of Gettysburg’s most haunted landmarks or even host your own paranormal investigation.

The Battle of Gettysburg was a turning point in the Civil War, the Union victory that ended General Robert E. Lee's second and most ambitious invasion of the North. Often referred to as the "High Water Mark of the Rebellion", Gettysburg was the Civil War's bloodiest battle and was also the inspiration for President Abraham Lincoln's immortal "Gettysburg Address".
Built in 1914, it is one of only a handful of truly round barns surviving today. Set in a scene of picturesque Pennsylvania foothills, you'll love its beautiful architecture against the rolling, orchard-covered hills. Whether you're here for an event, our fresh fruit, or just exploring, we think you'll find it's a truly well rounded experience.
There's no need to hike for hours to reach a scenic overlook in Maryland. Just head to High Rock in the Smithsburg area and prepare for a whole lot of beauty. High Rock overlooks sprawling farmland and rolling mountains in the distance. The colorful sky just before sunset adds even more beauty to the overlook.
