Please arrive at the church before 3:30. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30.

What's the parking situation?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception venue have great parking options! There are some street parking spots directly in front of Turtle's 1890 Social Centre, but you will find more in the areas highlighted with a yellow asterisk (see image above).

Can I bring the kiddos?

Answer

We would love for this night to be adults only, so we have reserved seats for the adults in your party. However, we know that sometimes it's not that easy! If you can't leave the kiddos, we would be more than happy to talk about babysitting options with you. Please feel free to contact John or Sophia about this.

What's the dress code?

Answer

We want this wedding to be colorful! John and Sophia ask that you wear your most fun apparel (lime green, tasseled, you name it!) while avoiding jeans and running shoes. Additionally, we ask that any scents or perfumes be applied sparingly. Some of our family is scent-sensitive (scentsitive, if you will).

We have reserved a specified number of seats for your party, which will be indicated on your invitation.

It's Halloween. Is this a costume party?

Answer

Only if you want it to be! The wedding party and family will be wearing typical wedding attire, but if you feel called to wear your Lorax cosplay, you certainly can. You might be given an odd glance (or two), but you'll have the endorsement of the bride and groom.
