Morning Hike

We are planning to hike Red-Tailed Overlook. It is 5.5 miles and 908ft elevation gain, considered a moderate hike that takes about 2-3 hours. We have to make reservations to park at all the trails in Big Sur (yay for ecological protection), so let us know if you're coming so that we can coordinate reservations and carpool! :) Here is the link for the AllTrails: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/red-tailed-overlook-out-and-back Make sure you bring plenty of water, snacks, and layers!

Ceremony

We don't care what you wear as long as you feel good in it. :) This will take place on beachside cliffs with beautiful views of the ocean, so be prepared for a chilly ocean breeze.
Located along scenic California State Route 1. There will be a short walk from the parking lot to the scenic overlook that we will say our vows at. We encourage you to explore the area after we say, "I do," while Sophia and Ali take some pictures to capture the memories of this special day.
Reception
6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The reception will take place at The Barnyard in Carmel. It is about a 15-minute drive from the ceremony. We will be serving a west-coast delicacy for dinner, In N Out!!

Where is the ceremony happening?
Answer
We will be getting married at Whale Peak in Garrapata State Park. There are a few viewpoints that can be accessed from the parking lot, so we will take the short walk together to ensure no one gets lost!

What should I wear?
Answer
We don't care what you wear as long as you feel good and you are comfortable. :) We expect it to get chilly throughout the ceremony so dress accordingly!

When should I arrive?
Answer
The actual ceremony will be on Wednesday, but we will be arriving Monday and celebrating Monday - Wednesday. We would love to have you celebrate with us, but we understand if your trip dates are a little different from ours!

Do I need to attend everything on the schedule?
Answer
NO! This is what Soph and Ali are planning to do, you are all welcome to join if you want but we will not be offended if you are not interested in anything.
