Our Story
Our story began in a tiny Japanese restaurant in the Elmwood Village. Matt was the kitchen manager there while I hosted, served, and bartended. We spent a long time getting to know each other: long bike rides and concerts in the summers, day drives to nowhere in particular, and eventually a trip to Korea! A few more vacations, a lot more meals, and one pandemic later we sort of figured that we'd probably spend the rest of our lives together. In a few more years, we added Serena, Dickie, and Fennel to our family--Frankie (my cat) was never destined to be an only pet. We outgrew our little apartment in the Lower West Side so...we bought our first home together! We've spent a lot of time renovating our home and while there's still a lot of work left to do, we're so happy to take a moment to celebrate our wedding with all of you.
