Little did we know when we met 4 years ago. That we had just met our future husband and wife. Celebrating our 21st and 27th birthdays. We were both on a night out with friends celebrating. When by chance we met through a mutual friend outside a venue. Alex walked up to our group, our eyes instantly met. He started talking to our mutual friend, saying 'it's my birthday,' and our friend replied, 'it's Lexi's birthday too.' Then, everything began. Alex suggested we take a snap since we were birthday buddies, and the photo that began it all was taken, starting our first conversation. We talked about where we lived, realizing we were in the same town and Alex cracking jokes, making me laugh until we parted and went back inside. From there Alex realized our "pods"were close. Later finding each other in the background of each other’s pictures and videos of this night. So in a huge group we enjoyed our show. Once the show was over my girl group was waiting for our ride. Alex then ran into us a couple more times. With him asking for my info on our 3rd run in. We then ran into each other one more time where Alex offered us a ride since we were still waiting on our original ride and invited us to an afterparty. My group declined. Although we snapped for a few days and tried to make plans that never seemed to work out. Due to our families having birthday celebrations for us. Until the evening of May 10, we met up to walk Rezz and get to know each other better. From there we were essentially inseparable. Traveling extensively our first year together. Bonding under the stars with our toes in the sand or running around festivals falling in love under neon skies. Together we have grown miles from those two slightly wild younger adults we once were. Becoming a team, working together to become the best versions of ourselves. Even learning how navigate through the "sickness and health" vow we will make on our wedding day. Along with the other hardships that come with life. Making us even for grateful for each other and you all! We are so thankful and blessed with the love of you, our friends and families for being apart of this journey we call life with us! We cannot wait to finally become Mr & Mrs Slate, surrounded by you, those we love most!

March 10th!
Air b&b's have shown to have the best rates, with more value in the area. As many of you are traveling as family or friend groups of various sizes. Observing a "one size fits all" hotel block was not in our best interest.
