It all began in late August of 2018, when we met on a Tinder date at Go Tavern in Logan Square. What started as casual drinks on the back patio quickly turned into something more, especially once Simone demanded that Matthew reveal all of his secrets (spoiler: he didn't have much). Over the past seven years, we’ve built a life full of laughter, love, and shared adventures. We survived a global pandemic together, adopted our sweet pup Pee-wee, and bought our first home in 2025. On April 1st, 2025, Matthew proposed at the Philadelphia Zoo, recreating one of the sweetest moments in movie history, when Rocky proposed to Adrian. It wasn’t until later that we realized it was also April Fool’s Day… but we promise, this engagement is no joke. These days, we spend our time watching movies, sharing music, hanging out with our beautiful friends (hi!), and doting on our beloved pets, Lucy and Pee-wee. We can’t wait to start the next chapter of our story, and we’re so grateful to have you be part of it.

They have a limited number of rooms that are more suitable for couples. Pros: It’s located above a great bar and restaurant, close to the Blue Line, and right in the heart of Logan Square. Cons: Because of these perks, it can get a bit loud.
Hotel
Bougie but nice. Pros: Located in the heart of Wicker Park, close to the Blue Line, and features a rooftop bar with a pool. I’ve never stayed here, but I imagine the hand soap is amazing. Cons: Like most spots with these perks, it’s probably a bit loud.
