Getting around Delhi
There are a lot of ways to get around! There are several car rental options, and Ola and Uber are relatively inexpensive. If you are feeling more adventurous, the metro is only a few rupees to reach here with nearest Metro Station at I.P. Extension (Pink line) and Anand Vihar Metro Station (Blue line). Agra is 3.5 hrs away. Rishikesh is 4.5 hrs away. Jaipur is 5 hrs away.

Next Destination
You could take a flight from Delhi to Shimla and then a bus from Shimla to Solan. Or our favorite, take a road trip! There are many inexpensive rentals and out station services in Delhi and Solan.

Getting around Solan
There are not a lot of ways to get around here. If you don't have your own or rental vehicle, there are shared auto-rickshaws (or you can pay special chargers for a private one). Chail is 1 hr away. Shimla is 1.5 hrs away. Chandigarh is 2.5 hrs away.

Going back
If you don't have your own or rental vehicle, you could catch flights from Chandigarh or Delhi. There are HRTC AC Buses and Cabs available for travel to both Chandigarh and Delhi from Solan.

Mall Road
You can go for an evening walk on the Mall road and not get over-charged for the things you buy from the shops here.

Chail Cricket Ground
The highest cricket ground in the world. The ground is surrounded by forest and is used as the school playground by Chail Military School. You can still visit it though!
