We're so excited to celebrate with you in just a few days-everything you need to know for the weekend is below!
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Casual
If you’re in town early, come hang out with us at one of our favorite local spots for pizza, snacks and games. A relaxed evening of food and fun before the big day- bring the kids along!
2:30 pm
Please plan to arrive by 2:15pm for a 2:30pm ceremony. There is a parking garage available to our guests free of charge for the event. Entrance is on Capitol Street. There will be a short break between the ceremony and reception- see below for ideas on how to spend that time.
5:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Formal Attire Requested
Join us for an evening of dinner, drinks, and dancing as we celebrate our first night as newlyweds. We can’t wait to share great food, flowing cocktails, and a packed dance floor with all of you.
Valet will be available at the Magnolia Hotel Houston for the reception. There are also several parking garages nearby in the downtown area. Our ceremony and reception venues are just a short distance apart- about an 8-10 minute walk (roughly four city blocks). We recommend using Uber or Lyft between the ceremony and reception for the easiest experience. Parking is available at both ceremony and reception.
We're leaning into a formal look for the day--think suits and long or cocktail dresses. Everything will take place indoors, so dress for comfort and celebration.
Houston weather can be unpredictable in May-it may be humid, rainy, sunny, or even a bit chilly. While all events are indoors, we recommend planning accordingly for transitions between locations.
We love your little ones, but our wedding day will be an adults-only celebration. We hope enjoy a night out with us!
We will not be providing transportation between venues. Fortunately, everything is very close and rideshare options are quick and convenient.
If you’re staying a little longer, the Houston Astros are back in town Monday, May 4th. Shirley has fully converted to Astros fandom (sorry, Angels!), and we love spending game days at the ballpark—especially with an El Tiempo margarita in hand.
This spot is extra special to us—it’s where we went on our first date! It’s also our go-to neighborhood hangout, known for great beer and plenty of space for friendly competition!
Something you may not know—Ryan loves a speakeasy! This is one of our favorites in town, with great cocktails and beautiful views.
