Travel Note
Pro tip: If flying into Los Angeles, there are several airports to choose from. You may find that LAX is the most budget friendly but we want you to know that there are other regional airports within the area. You may find that the Burbank airport will be the most convenient and hassle free depending on where you are staying. Other airports are: Long Beach Airport, Ontario Airport and John Wayne Airport (in Orange County near Disneyland). Santa Barbara does have an airport.
Train
There is an Amtrak Pacific Sunliner Train that goes from Union Station in Los Angeles to downtown Santa Barbara along the coastline.

As much as we love your little ones, with the exception of immediate family members and friends who are playing a role in the wedding ceremony, we will not be including kids in the ceremony or reception. Please understand that we would love for all of us to relax and enjoy our special day in a more mature environment, free from parenting duties. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so please plan accordingly in accommodating your children in advance.
Welcome to sunny California! The weather here can be nothing short of amazing...average high is 78 degrees F in July...you may want to move here ;) During the day, the weather in Santa Barbara should be beautiful, but it might get chilly at night. So please bring a light sweater/jacket for the evening just in case. Beach Sunshine Kale Tacos Good Vibes...nuff said!!!
Dress code is formal beach wedding attire....i.e. formal wedding attire but at the beach…For example, sports jackets, linen suits, cocktail dresses...light and bright colors are preferred, you get the idea… feel free to ask. Don't forget your most comfortable dancing shoes you party animal. Bring a spare pair of flip flops if you want to walk on the beach.
Yes to both locations.
Comfortable footwear that are fabulous enough for a wedding but will allow you to cut the rug and burn a hole on the dance floor...or in Amy's words (or really Gabby Barrett), "Dance Like No One's Watching."
Yes but we would kindly ask the you do this only during the reception please so that you can be present during the wedding ceremony.. Please silence your phones during the ceremony. We will actually have a professional photographer/videographer(s) to document that whole thing.
finally...a question we can actually confidently answer... please kindly direct your wedding-specific questions to Sonya Mitchum at 1-805-284-3837...and we love her!!!
This is probably one of the most important things to remember that day...please bring your most positive and genuine energy and love....this is a celebration of our love, and we hope that you can express your love and happiness for the both of us that day...we would love for you to be there and are grateful to have you in our lives...there's nothing in this world that would bring us the greatest joy and happiness more than your love, positive energy/support and genuine happiness for the both of us...after all, this is a day to celebrate love and being all together in one place and in one day, which is a blessing and something we can't take for granted...so let's all party and practice giving love that day y'all... Our warmest regards and love always, Amy and Sherwin...positive vibes only. please...
No. Our venue has a limited capacity so therefore we have to follow the amount that is listed on the RSVP. Thank you for understanding.
With our wedding being an adult-only event, this question has come up so we figured we would add this here. Yes. There are several babysitting services offered in Santa Barbara. I'll list a couple here but there are more on google. We have not personally read reviews or have had any experience with them so use your best judgment.
