Shelina and Galib were introduced by a mutual connection—Shelina’s cousin and Galib’s friend, Salma. Big thanks to Salma (your ‘big fat Indian’ wedding is definitely coming!). During one of Shelina’s annual visits to Toronto, Salma insisted she meet her friend Galib, whom she described as “a genuinely good guy with a great sense of humor.” What more could a girl want? After a month of chatting on WhatsApp and a few FaceTime calls, Shelina agreed to go on one date with Galib, who graciously offered to play tour guide for the day. From that very first outing, they both knew there was something special. That one date quickly turned into three—including a family BBQ! And the rest, as they say, is history. Shelina and Galib feel incredibly blessed and are deeply grateful to their families and friends for the love, support, and warm welcome they’ve received on both sides.
