Some love stories start early. Ours didn’t. We went to the same high school but somehow never crossed paths. Years later, in late 2020, a random Instagram message turned into a conversation neither of us expected to mean much… until it did. A few messages later, we decided to meet up for dinner at Texas Roadhouse. We were both nervous, but that first date felt easy—lots of laughs, good conversation, and no pressure. We didn’t realize it then, but that night was the beginning of everything. Since then, life has only gotten better. What started as a simple connection turned into a partnership built on love, trust, and a lot of growth. One of the most meaningful parts of our journey has been watching Tyrone step fully into our family and love DJ as his own. What began with a message has turned into a life together—and we’re so excited to take this next step as husband and wife.
