We highly recommend touring Heritage Park. The 1660’s German dwelling is an incredible piece of history in Manning, Iowa. Having survived hundreds of years and traveling thousands of miles, the authentic German Hausbarn is a must see. There is a beautiful Trinity Lutheran Church that dates back to 1913 with ties in the community going back as far as 1884.
We understand that some guests may need to bring their children to the wedding & reception. While we encourage an adult atmosphere to allow everyone to fully enjoy the celebration, we recognize that flexibility is important.
Our wedding is cocktail attire. Cocktail attire isn't overly formal and we encourage guests to be dressed a step above casual.
There is ample parking surrounding the shelter house. For ceremony parking, we ask that you please limit parking to the front of the shelter house.
There will be a brief cocktail hour in-between the ceremony and reception to allow for the bride and groom to take pictures with their families. Please enjoy the provided beverages and light snacks.
