Nestled in Malolos, Bulacan, Barasoain Church—officially known as the Parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel—is more than just a place of worship. Built in 1888 in the Spanish Baroque style, it became the cradle of Philippine democracy. This sacred site hosted the First Philippine Congress in 1898, where the Malolos Constitution was drafted and the First Philippine Republic was inaugurated under President Emilio Aguinaldo.
Declared a National Landmark in 1973, Barasoain Church stands as a symbol of faith, resilience, and national pride. Its timeless architecture and profound legacy make it a truly meaningful place to begin our own chapter of love and commitment.
