We are (finally) getting married! We're doing the official business in London with our immediate family, and then we’ll be celebrating the occasion properly in Paros, Greece (Sept. 3–6). We know we’re asking many of you to travel a long way, and we don’t take that lightly. We’re lucky to have such close friends and family in both the UK, USA and Europe, and we couldn’t be more excited to gather the people we love most in one place - many of you meeting for the first time. That alone means the world to us. We’re so grateful you’re making the effort to celebrate with us. It truly means everything.
8:00 pm - 10:30 pm
No dress code – just come ready for drinks!
We’ll be gathering for drinks the evening before the main event and would love for you to join us. It’ll be very relaxed with no formalities – just something easy so we can see some of your beautiful faces before the big celebration. Venue TBC (somewhere that serves a good Negroni).
Fri, Sep 4, 2026, 5:30 pm - Sat, Sep 5, 2026, 1:00 am
Dress code: Summer formal with a white shirt for the guys (no ties please!). For the ladies, anything you like, just come colourful: Greek-island vibes very encouraged.
Our main event will begin as the sun sets over the island - we'll enjoy some cocktails and have the chance to really take the moment in. From there, we'll sit down for dinner, share a few toasts, and ease into music and dancing as the evening unfolds with all of our favourite people.
11:00 am - 4:00 pm
The day after, we’ll be setting up camp at a beach club to recover gently in the sun. Think sea swims, iced coffees, beers, spritz! – Whatever helps cure the hangover. We’ll hopefully have an area reserved so we can all gather, but it’s very relaxed – come by, stay all day, stay an hour, or do your own thing. No pressure at all, just an easy day by the sea.
5:00 pm - 8:30 pm
To round out the weekend, we’re planning a sunset cruise after our beach day – one final hoorah. Think golden hour! – One last swim in the sea, light bites and drinks, and watching the sun go down together before everyone heads off. We’re still finalising details, but the estimated cost will be €80–120 per person, which will include light food and drinks. If you think you’d like to join, please let us know when you RSVP so we can get a sense of numbers and full details will follow.
Flight
From Athens, it’s about a 40-minute flight to Paros. Airlines include Aegean and Sky Express. This is the simplest and fastest option.
Travel Note
You can take a ferry from: Athens (Rafina or Piraeus, 2-4 hours) Mykonos (45–90 minutes) Naxos (30–45 minutes) Santorini (2–3 hours) If you fly into Mykonos or Santorini from London, the ferry into Paros is much shorter than it would be from Athens. For those who have never taken the Greek ferries before, you’ll book an assigned seat (similar to airplane-style seating), but you’re free to walk around once onboard. There are outdoor decks, cafés serving coffee and wine/beer, air conditioning, restrooms, and usually WiFi. Boarding can look and feel a little chaotic at first – luggage everywhere, lots of movement – but it moves quickly and is generally very organised once you’re on. We recommend using the Ferryhopper app to book tickets (Seajets is an option too) and reserving early, as September is still a busy travel season for Greece. All ferries arrive into Parikia Port.
Travel Note
While the wedding venue is near Golden Beach, we’re recommending that most guests stay in Naoussa or Parikia so we can all be near each other throughout the weekend. That said, Paros is a small island, so wherever you choose to stay won’t be an issue. Naoussa is especially charming and walkable — full of great restaurants, bars, and little harbor spots. It has a lovely buzz without feeling overwhelming. The venue is about 15–20 minutes away by car. If you’d prefer something quieter and more beachfront, Golden Beach and Drios are beautiful options — just keep in mind you’ll likely want to rent a car or scooter to get around easily.
Travel Note
Paros is easy to navigate, but you’ll likely want some kind of transport unless you’re staying right in Naoussa and plan to stay local. Renting a Car Best if you’re staying outside Naoussa, traveling with children, or want flexibility to explore beaches. We recommend booking in advance for September. Reliable companies at the port include: Hertz Aegean Car Rental Notos Rent a Car Paros Drive ParosGo ⸻ Scooters & ATVs Very common and easy to rent throughout Naoussa and Parikia. Often available on the spot with day rates. Scooters are great for couples; ATVs are slightly more stable if preferred. Please be safe out there and only use these options if you're comfortable doing so - and wear a helmet! ⸻ Public Buses Paros has a surprisingly good bus network connecting Naoussa, Parikia, Golden Beach, Piso Livadi, and major beaches. Tickets usually cost €2–€4 and run frequently during summer. ⸻ Taxis Taxis are limited, especially at night. Hotels can arrange transfers, though these are more expensive. There is no Uber on the island. Wedding day transportation will be arranged to and from the main hub (likely Naoussa), so no one needs to worry about getting to or from the venue that evening.
Have a song that will absolutely get you on the dance floor? Add it when you RSVP and we’ll try to work it into the playlist.
Our welcome drinks are the evening of Thursday, September 3, so we recommend arriving by Thursday afternoon if you can.
Not at all. We’ve planned a few moments throughout the weekend so everyone can spend time together, but everything (except the main celebration on Friday!) is completely optional.
