What does "cocktail attire" mean for your wedding?

Answer

This means suits for men and cocktail dresses for women. It is somewhere between semi-formal and formal/black-tie. This means dresses that are elegant and typically knee-length for women. Cocktail attire has a touch of glamour and is meant for evening events. While the ceremony is in the rose garden, the cocktail hour and reception will be in a more formal, indoor venue.

Are kids invited?

Of course! Please let us know if you plan to bring them, so we can accomodate at the venue. However, unfortunately, there won't be any baby-sitting or entertainment provided for them.

What's the menu like?

Answer

It will be family style with plenty of meat and fish entrees, vegetables, and salads. As soon as you enter the reception hall, the cold appetizers will be ready on the tables and you can dig in!

Will you have an open bar?

Answer

Duh! There will be bottles of alcohol on the tables to minimize waiting time between drinks. There will also be an open bar with cocktails, liquor, beer, and wine. You can also ask the waiters if you want something.

By September 10 please - this will give us time to develop seating charts & plan!

Where can I park at the reception?

Answer

There will be valet parking at the reception venue for a fee. However, you may find metered street parking, and there are many parking structures nearby - we recommend the Orange St. Parking Structure, which is 1-2 blocks away, open 24 hours, and $9 for the entire day.

When does the wedding reception end?

Answer

Never!!! JK, we wish. We have the venue booked all night, so it'll end when you decide to leave us :'(

Can guests take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will have photographers and videographers, so we kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony. We want you to be in the moment with us.
