Michael and I met at a pool party thrown by a Singles group at our church. A few random conversations later, I could tell this was a fun, energetic guy, but didn't think much would come from it. To be honest, he wasn't the typical guy I would normally go for. To my surprise, he asked me to lunch a few days later and I could see a deeply genuine and caring side of Michael. Eventually, I realized God had chosen this man for ME, and that I was falling in love. Our shared faith has been the foundation for our relationship, but we definitely share a silly sense of humor, a love of documentaries and TexMex, and a desire for adventuring together (See pic below of one of our early dates to a retro arcade). Here's to many more adventures!
