How We Met
The year was 1985 when my cousin Shawn invited me to a school dance. I decided to go, wearing a pretty white dress and pink lip gloss, knowing only my cousins Shawn and Lesa. While at the dance, one of Shawn’s friends asked about me, which led to an introduction. That’s when I met Keith—dressed in a white tuxedo. From the moment we stepped onto the dance floor, it felt like we had known each other forever. We ended the night by taking a picture together at the small backdrop the school had set up. Afterward, I went home and we talked on the phone every day. Over time, the calls became less frequent, and eventually, we lost touch. Through the years, I would occasionally ask my cousin about Keith and learned that he had gotten married and had two children. Fast forward 35 years—I received a message from Keith on LinkedIn asking if I remembered him. Of course I did. We started chatting on the app for a few days before he shared his contact information. I called…we dated…and the rest is history.

We kindly ask guests to dress in formal wedding attire for the celebration. For gentlemen, this includes dark suits or tuxedos with dress shoes. For ladies, we ask for elegant cocktail, midi, or floor-length dresses and gowns. Knee-length to floor-length styles are encouraged. This will be an elevated evening celebration, and we’d love for everyone to dress accordingly for the occasion.
There are six handicap parking spaces in our valet and self-parking lot located on Adams Street, directly across from the Circle Drive. There are also six handicap parking spaces in our self-parking lot located on Main Street between Adams and Jefferson Streets. The Circle Drive located on Franklin Street at the corner of Adams is the recommended entrance and exit for all arriving and departing guests. All pathways to the Front Desk, Concierge, Lemaire Restaurant and Elevators 1 and 2 to the guest room floors are unobstructed. Guests choosing to arrive or depart using either of the Main Street entrances will also have an unobstructed path to the Front Desk, Concierge and Lemaire Restaurant on the Palm Court level by utilizing the Rotunda Elevators 4 and 5 to the first floor of guestrooms (Level 1). Guests will then follow the directional signs toward Elevators 1 and 2, exciting on the Lobby Level (Level L) and arriving at the Circle Drive entrance doors.

We respectfully request that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. While we love your children, we have chosen to keep this event limited to guests 18 and older. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you.
