Need a coffee, breakfast, lunch, or sweet treat - check out Mildred's - one of our go to coffee date spots when we lived downtown! You can't go wrong with the cinnamon roll!
The Kansas City Public Library: Central Library
If you love a library - check this one out! Super close to the venue and such a beautiful building! Be sure to check out the rooftop! The side of the parking garage on 10th street is a great book lover photo op! And also, we used to live across the street!

A great spot for dinner!! Located in the Rivermarket, right down the street from our venue! We have had dinner here on multiple occasions and impressed every single time!! Remarkable vibes, tasty food, and great cocktails!

If you're a board game lover...check out KC's first board game pub. Grab a cocktail and one of their many board games and sit and play! This is right next door to the venue.

We know it might be chilly, but if you're looking for a local, tasty treat, Betty Rae's in the Rivermarket is SO GOOD!

Sushi lovers... this one is a must. Located in the Power and Light District, Blue Sushi is one of our faves! If you're staying downtown, we highly suggest walking or taking an Uber if possible, as parking is not fun in that area of town!

Where should I park?
Answer
Two free parking lots: 1. Small lot attached to the venue on the south side 2. Large lot about one block west (address for that lot is 601 Main St) Directly across the street from the venue is a paid lot and there is also street parking directly outside the venue.

Answer
Semi-formal/cocktail attire is preferred. The ceremony will be outside, so plan for something to keep you warm! We highly encourage wearing fun, fall colors and wearing comfy shoes so we can dance the night away!
