We reignited a flame that started 17 years ago. We remained friends and spoke on occasion. We talked one day at work and found that we both had a bit of a green thumb. That was the spark that led to a text, then to a plant swap meetup. We talked about the old times and found out not much changed about each other. It quickly turned into the friendship we had before, with our sights on a future together. We’ve been inseparable, and have taken advantage of every second we had together. Starting with the famous pinky promise, we set our goals and the path we wanted to take in life. We took a little beach getaway and she added a gold finger with rock topper to her green thumb. It was a spectacular day that seemed to last forever. Our paths have led us right back to each other with an unbreakable bond and we’re ready to just enjoy the best part of our lives together.
