Our Story
It all began on June 15, 2017, at a bowling alley in Fairlawn, Ohio. After a few rounds of bowling and several Voodoo Ranger IPAs, we found ourselves talking more and bowling less. With a growing curiosity about each other and a serious case of the beer munchies, we decided to continue our date at Melt Bar and Grilled to satisfy our hunger. Shamelessly devouring our full-size melts and an entire plate of French fries, we then shared arguably the most awkward first kiss in a bowling alley parking lot. From there, the rest is history. From Athens to Lakewood to Wooster to France, our love has spanned many distances. In the early days, we drove countless hours every weekend to visit each other. Eventually, we moved in together and started our little dog family, watching our relationship blossom. Over the years, we've taken several memorable trips together, with one of the most unforgettable being our trip to France. Shane planned the perfect proposal at Aiguille du Midi, atop the snow-covered mountains. Kayla, thinking it was just another day of hiking and exploring, was completely surprised! Some of our most enjoyable times have been spent hiking and camping in national parks like Glacier, Redwoods, and Acadia. We also love playing air instruments in our two-person band at concerts, checking out breweries and coffee shops, cheering on the Browns, planting and harvesting our garden, dancing in the kitchen, and, most importantly, raising our three dogs, Wilbur, Eilee, and Archie.

Hocking Hills Transportation

We will be providing a 14 passenger shuttle to take you to and from the hotel, ceremony & reception. Everyone is more than welcome to park their car at the reception and leave it overnight if preferred. For those who prefer to not have to worry about driving back and forth, you can park your vehicle at the hotel and the shuttle can take you from there. Shuttle Schedule: - Departures from Hotel: 3:00 PM and 3:50 PM - Departures from Reception: 9:00 PM running continuously, last departure at 11:00 PM

Hotel Information
Because guests cannot begin checking into the hotel until 3:00 PM, there are a few options that we would recommend: -Travel in and secure your room the night before. -Arrive at the hotel early, leave your luggage with the front desk, and pick it up when you're able to check-in at the end of the night - the hotel has confirmed this is okay! -Drive yourself to the venue and either designate a driver in your party or have the shuttle take you to the hotel at the end of the night. If your vehicle is left overnight at the venue, please make arrangements to get your vehicle from the venue the next morning
