Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Yes! Your children will be listed on your household RSVP profile so just let us know if they are coming so we can make sure there's enough food and seats for them. We do also ask that you be respectful of the ceremony and if they start to cry that you'd please remove them.

Question

Wait there's 2 weddings??

Answer

Yes! I know this seems very extra but this will be a 2 day event. To honor Jacob's Lao heritage we will be hosting a traditional Lao ceremony in addition to the American wedding on Saturday, September, 20th. The address is 1386 NW 275th Rd, Holden, MO, 64040 Please help us celebrate by coming to both if you'd like. Both will be by RSVP but the Lao wedding venue isn't as restricting as the other, so we can accomodate more guests!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is a limit on the guests we can invite and cannot accommodate a plus one for everyone. If you are a special case where we have allowed you a plus one, we have listed her/his name or "Plus One" on your RSVP profile. If you feel we left out someone important, let us know, but understand that our limitations may mean our hands are tied.

Question

Attire: What should I wear?

Answer

-This is a formal event! So for men please wear a suit of some kind and a tie. Ladies a dress of any length is fine but on the more formal side! -Please refrain from wearing any jeans, tennis shoes, t-shirts, etc. -Our theme is enchanted garden and colors are pink and green so feel free to match that vibe or some type of color that matches the garden vibes, however, you may wear whatever color you'd like! (Except white of course)

Question

When is the wedding?

Answer

September 21st, 2025! Cocktail hour is at 5 and the ceremony starts at 6. If you are not attending cocktail hour please arrive 30 minutes early as doors will lock promptly at 6 to make sure the ceremony is not disrupted. Lao Wedding: September 20th 11am-3pm

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

Main Wedding: Address: 11014 E Winner Rd, Independence, MO, 64052 Lao Wedding: 1386 NW 275th Rd, Holden, MO, 64040

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Yes, however, please be respectful of our photographers and videographer. We paid a lot of money for them to capture our day so please be mindful to not get in their shots. Otherwise, we'd love to see our amazing day from the perspective of our loved ones!

Question

Do I have to RSVP? Can't I just tell you I'm going to be there (or not)?

Answer

Yep, you have to. For the sake of our sanity, please use the RSVP link at the top. It is far easier for us than dealing with 50 forms of communication for RSVPing.

Question

What do I do if something changes and I can/can't make it after I have RSVPed?

Answer

We understand things come up. Just text us right away at 9137105366(Shalom) or 8169203520(Jacob) so we can make changes.

Question

What colors should I avoid wearing?

Answer

White, especially a white wedding dress :)

Question

How/when do I RSVP?

Answer

You will RSVP on this very website--just look at the top of the screen. Please send us your acceptances or regrets by July 20th 2025

Question

when is the RSVP deadline

Answer

July 20th, 2025 by 7pm for both

Question

Can I just sit where I want for dinner

Answer

No, to ensure we have seats for everyone, there will be a seating chart. This took a lot of effort and time to curate, so please respect our wishes and sit at your designated table.
