What color palette should guests wear to the wedding?
Answer
Sunset colors! Refer to the photo (above) to get an idea! Ladies: opt for a light and airy dress with floral patterns or in pastel/solid shades of purple, pink, red, orange, yellow. Maxi dresses, tea-length dresses, or sundresses are all excellent choices. Gentlemen: opt for lightweight and breathable fabrics, such as cotton or linen. Linen pants, breathable suits or chinos with a button-down shirt are all great choices. Men may also stick to the sunset color palette, or opt for light colors- tan, beige, light blue, yellow, etc. Please AVOID jeans, t-shirts, cream, ivory & white colors.

No. It is a private venue location and guests MUST reserve a room for the minimum 3 nights.

1st deposit: To hold your room, a deposit of $200 USD per room is required. 2nd deposit: 50% of total room due by October 24th, 2024. Final payment: The remaining balance is due before January 9th, 2025. **Our travel coordinator can work with special payment plans for those who need them**

Why does the “Save the Date” say March 21-24 and the room booking site say March 20-25?

Although our family-centered wedding festivities will be taking place the 21st to the 24th, we understand some of our guests may have extra time off of work & want to spend more days at the resort. We reserved from the 20th to the 25th so they can do so and still take advantage of the discounted room rate.

The more, the merrier! If you plan to bring a +1, please notify either Flavio or Shakira, so we can ensure everyone gets a seat and a plate. Please note that a +1 can only apply to the first invited guest.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
We ask that you schedule time to arrive 30-45 minutes before the start time of the ceremony which is at 5:00pm sharp. Although we'll be in the Dominican Republic, we will not be on island time for the day-of-wedding events. Please be punctual!

Due to its nature and environment, we have decided to keep the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, wedding dinner and reception child-free. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. However, children ARE allowed at the Hilton La Romana Family Resort! Please understand the difference. Debido a su naturaleza y entorno, hemos decidido mantener la ceremonia de la boda, la hora del cóctel, la cena de boda y la recepción libres de niños. Yes! 18+ are free to use amenities and visit dining venues on the adults-only side.
