We first met in our freshman chemistry lab at Mercer University. After the first couple of labs, our professor announced it was time to switch partners, urging us to meet more people. My lab partner quickly paired up with someone else, and by the time I scanned the room, everyone seemed to have found a new partner. I happened to turn around to see Drake leaning casually against the lab bench behind me. Our eyes met at the same moment, and with a smirk, he said, "Hi, partner." I gave him a small smile and rolled my eyes playfully, thinking he was just being the funny guy he always was in class. He even teased me about my favorite show, but it was all in good fun. After that, we started hanging out more often, and our friendship grew naturally, like it was meant to happen. The rest, as they say, is history.
