If you ask Logan, he will swear up and down that he stole me away from a boyfriend in the 7th grade so we could date each other. He will also tell you that we never broke up so in his eyes we have been dating for 14 years (15 when we wed).
We spent the day at the lake with Logan’s family, and in true Seagroves fashion, we ran into an old friend along the way. I didn’t think much of it, but little did I know Logan had a surprise planned. As the day wound down, we decided to take some family pictures — something I was excited about since we didn’t have many of all of us together. There may have been a little acting going on, but nothing that seemed out of the ordinary to me. Then, in the middle of those pictures, Robbie and Julie captured the perfect moment — Logan asking me to be his forever “Boat Snack.” Of course, I said yes! To top it all off, the friends we’d seen earlier started cheering from their spot in the lake below. It was the perfect, joy-filled moment — and the start of my journey to becoming a Seagroves, for now as the Future Mrs. Seagroves. 💍✨
Some love stories build slowly, with months of planning and spreadsheets. Ours decided to take a shortcut—straight to the good part. Logan and I realized that what mattered most to us wasn’t the size of the day, the timeline, or the guest list. It was standing next to each other and choosing forever, without distractions, expectations, or stress. So a couple weeks ago, we did something very us—we eloped. No audience. No pressure. Just us, a quiet moment, and a promise we’ve already been living out in a thousand small ways. It was simple, deeply meaningful, and honestly perfect. Now that we’ve officially tied the knot, we’re excited to share our wedding website and registry as we look ahead to celebrating with the people we love. While our marriage has already begun, our story is far from over—and we can’t wait to keep building it with family and friends cheering us on. Thank you for being part of our journey. 💍
