Our Love Story
We met on a dating app. Yep. Thank you, Bumble! Leilani swiped right and the rest is history. After talking for a bit, we decided to meet at a neighborhood spot in the Heights in Houston which would later become the spot where we would get engaged on Valentines Day 2024. On our first date, we talked for four hours even though Scott likes to tell everyone he wasn't so sure about Leilani. After all, she was a MOM! But we were both educators in the same school district and we discovered that we had quite a bit in common. After a bit of a roller coaster in the beginning, we both realized we had found the one. Love later in life just hits different. We weren't worried about careers, or starting a family, or any of those other things that you worry about in your 20's and 30's. We could just focus on loving each other. And now, four years later, we are here...ready to start our new adventure together!

We will meet at Maison, a New Orleans jazz venue. After Maison, we will head out to find some other hopping venues on Frenchmen Street. Join us for all or some of the evening!

We will meet at the Cafe Du Monde for traditional beignets. This is right in Jackson Square and the French Market. Street performers, Jackson Cathedral, The Mississippi River...so much to do and see!
Muriels on Jackson Square

Muriel's is one of the many haunted locations in New Orleans and one of our favorites. It's a great place for dinner but we will be there for cocktails. After that, walk in any direction and find a cool spot in the French Quarter.

This event is for the men! This is an 18 hole Disc Golf course that is fun for even beginners. Scott will have discs for everyone if you RSVP!!!

Our wedding will be on the rooftop overlooking the New Orleans skyline. Cocktail attire...or just be YOU!
We will have plenty of food, beer, wine and his/hers cocktails! Can't wait to share our big day with all of you! Make sure you wear your dancing shoes!
Second Line Parade
9:30 pm - 10:00 pm
It is a grand New Orleans wedding tradition to have a Second Line Parade for the bride and groom. The tradition signifies the beginning of a new life together. A New Orleans Jazz Band will accompany Scott and Leilani and all of our guests from Basin St. Station into the French Quarter where we will continue the celebration!
