Getting to Asheville:

For your convenience, we recommend staying in Weaverville, it is a halfway point between Asheville and the wedding venue. If you're staying in Asheville it will be about a 25-30 minute drive to the venue. Weaverville will be about a 15 minute drive to the venue, and a 15-20 minute drive to Asheville.
We will also note that ubers are unreliable in this area, so please plan to have a sober driver or pitch a tent!
About The Venue
Garden Party Attire: Wear sundresses, florals, comfy and practical shoes, no jeans or t-shirts please!

Safety & Children:
The Hawk & Hawthorne is half-wild land, adjoining the national forest, and is not child-proofed. There are brambles, biting & stinging creatures, ticks, poison ivy, steep hills, open ponds, and many places to mis-step, especially in the dark. Children should never be allowed to roam free and *must* be attended at all times. Basic first aid kits are available behind the bar.
Tent camping is also an option here! People who plan to camp, please let Josh or Dana know directly. You can bring a camper but there are no hook ups. Must leave by 11am on Sunday.
There is a decent walk from the parking lot to the ceremony area, including a hill. There will be golf cart shuttles available for those who'd like assistance, please let Josh or Dana know if you'd like a ride!

Please pitch a tent if you don't plan on having a sober driver. Ubers are unreliable in this area!
If you plan on hanging around the fire later then 11, consider bringing a camp chair to post up!
