How We Met

It all started with a job application.

The last place we thought we'd meet someone was at work...especially since our team is made up of three people. However, God had something in the works! We started as co-workers, which evolved into being friends, which led to long conversations after work hours, lots of movie dates, and eventually falling in love. :) As many of you know, we are both film lovers and work for a filmmaking ministry in Austin, TX, and we get to travel the world and document cinematic stories of real-life faith. Matt is an extroverted filmmaker, and Kristin is an introverted producer. Nice combo! We like movies, coffee, hiking, camping, long road trips, traveling, and Paddington Bear (ask us why he's special!) We are so thankful to God for bringing us together and writing our story...it's been more wonderful than we both could have imagined.

Things To Do

Palo Duro Canyon State Park

11450 Park Road 5, Canyon, TX 79015

Go enjoy a hike in the park! The Lighthouse Trail is quite popular and definitely worth it.

Palace Coffee Company

420 15th Street, Canyon, TX 79015

Great coffee and a great atmosphere located in Canyon's square! We always visit here when we're in town.

Cadillac Ranch

13651 Interstate 40 Frontage Road, Amarillo, TX 79124

You gotta visit Cadillac Ranch and spray paint one of the cars...Amarillo's claim to fame!

The Big Texan Steak Ranch & Brewery

7701 Interstate 40, Amarillo, TX 79118

It's world famous, folks! You may not be up for a 72 oz. steak, but there's plenty of Texas character at this joint.

Antique and Vintage Shopping on 6th Street

2601 SW 6th Ave, Amarillo, TX 79106

There are lots of vintage and antique shops on 6th Street in Amarillo! We had a really fun time exploring this area last year.

Answer

We've got you covered! You won't need to pay to enter. Simply tell them you are with the "Schroder Cotov" Wedding.

How do I get to the Mack Dick Pavilion?

Answer

Once you arrive at the park, simply follow the road until you get to the bottom of the canyon. (You'll pass the visitor center entrance on your way down.) Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids! However, due to a small wedding venue, we are unable to accommodate children beyond our immediate family and wedding party.
