Their workplace ended up being where their love story started! They met when Lauren’s boss was let go. JJ was sent to help the Dallas branch by being the interim manager in this tough time. JJ was witty and funny, but was very professional. Lauren had a feeling he was the one, but he did not ask her out in the beginning due to his extremely professional demeanor and commitment to integrity. Lauren and JJ got along very well and laughed together at work everyday, also he would bring her breakfast and lunch even sometimes. Lauren enjoyed his company and decided to ask him out! God gave her the “go ahead”. This date turned out to be incredible! They went to the Fort Worth zoo. This was the beginning of the best year yet! Lauren and JJ both worked for the same company for about 7 years before meeting in person - all this time, “the one” was just on the other side of the phone! They started out as co-workers, then friends, then their “spark” turned into love after many dates and nights out on the town. With God prioritized at the center of their relationship, they plan to walk into the future knowing He has a beautiful future in store for them and their marriage! They are both eternally grateful for the way they met, and how God surprised them both in the midst of a seemingly bad situation. God definitely turned lemons into lemonade and brought them both the best gift they could ever have imagined!
