Q+A

Question

What portion of the weekend are guests invited to?

Answer

We are so grateful for you making the effort to spend our wedding weekend with you and want to spend as much time with you as we can! As such, everyone invited to the wedding is invited to our welcome dinner on Friday night, and the ceremony and reception on Saturday!

Question

Is there a dress code for Friday & Saturday?

Answer

First, we want you to feel comfortable, so whatever that means for you, works for us. We're just honored you're spending this day with us in celebration. That being said, if you're like SBH and appreciate structure, here are the recommendations for attire on Friday and Saturday. Friday: Dressy Casual/Semi-Formal Dinner on Friday will be at Falls City Brewery. We encourage you to wear something cute and comfy. Your favorite linen shirt or sundress would be perfect! Saturday: Colorful Formal "Colorful Formal" is how we'd recommend dressing for our wedding. What does that mean? Great question. You have an amazing smoking jacket/sport coat/suit/fun tie you've been dying to bust out? Now's your time. f you're feeling a dress or a jumpsuit, bright colors and patterns are highly encouraged. Our band is going to be a "Miami yacht rock band" -- the vibes will be funky -- you are welcome to dress the same! Additionally, for those who may be inclined to wear heels, Saturday's festivities will take place outdoors and on grass. Our recommendation would be to wear a heel that won't sink into the earth! Question

What should we do about transportation on Saturday?

Answer

Parking is available at the Peterson Dumesnil House (301 S Peterson Ave, Louisville, KY 40206) directly across the street from the Heine Residence where the reception will take place. Overflow parking is available in the Barrett Middle School parking lot which can be accessed from S Peterson Ave (it is the next driveway on the right after the entrance to the Peterson Dumesnil House as you drive towards Grinstead Drive/the brick hill). Parking at the ceremony site is limited -- it is recommended you park at the Peterson Dumesnil House and travel on one of the shuttles provided to the ceremony site. We highly encourage those driving to park at the Peterson Dumensil House and ride the buses to the ceremony to leave parking for those who need additional support accessing the ceremony venue.

Question

What is the shuttle schedule for Saturday?

Answer

We will have buses running from both the AC Hotel Louisville in Nulu and from the Bungalou + Bellwether Hotel on Bardstown Road to the ceremony and on to the reception. All buses will also be stopping at the Peterson Dumesnil House to pick up guests en route to the ceremony. Exact Schedule TBA

Question

Do you have a rain plan?

Answer

As we know, SBH is nothing if not a planner. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will also take place at the reception site (240 S Peterson Ave. Louisville, KY 40206). This will be clearly communicated on the website and via email ahead of the day of the wedding.

Question

When do we need to RSVP by?

Answer

Question

Answer

Question
