We ask on this special day that every one wear a semi formal outfit. So get ready to dress up and party in your best ! For Ladies with heels we will have turf under the tent but be prepared to walk on gravel and grass as well.

Although we love all the kiddos we will not be having children , so prepare the baby sitters and enjoy the night out!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There is a large parking lot available, please take the second entrance to Smith Farm Gardens to park in the lot .

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

East Haddam is a very small town , for those of you who don't want to travel far after the wedding the closest options are Boardman House Inn Bed & Breakfast and River wind Inn Bed & Breakfast . For those of you who don't mind the drive The Inn at Middletown and the Quality Inn of Old Saybrook are great options .

As we have lived together now for several years we have a small gift registry , but welcome any donations toward our honeymoon! We will be posting an online option to donate and cash is also welcome the day of. Please no gifts outside of the registry besides cash as we don't want duplicate gifts !
